Crisis Time Is God’s Time

     CHRISTIANS CAN MAKE GOOD NEWS BECOME PART OF THE BAD NEWS STORY… Since bad news is where the eyes of the world are focused, this is where Christians should be, armed with natural provisions and especially the good news supernatural weapons of prayer, praise, worship and evangelism pointing to the cross and Jesus as the only real hope and lasting solution…

ALL PROBLEM, NO SOLUTION… ALL QUESTIONS, NO ANSWERS…
      The eyes of the world are focused upon bad news. The news media is poised and waiting for the next crisis of the world to take place so they can expose it to a world which is so technologically linked that a terrorism taking place in the US, Iraq, Israel, Africa or Europe can be seen as it is happening by anyone with a television, radio or a computer anywhere in the world.
     The local news is aired every day and night always leading with the latest murder or rape or kidnapping. We can even sit in our living rooms and watch a foiled bank robbery underway complete with automatic gun fire, car chases and live cops and robbers killing each other in real time.

THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE ARE NOT CARNAL, BUT THEY ARE MIGHTY!
        Since this is where the eyes of the world are focused, this is where Christians should be, armed with weapons of prayer, praise, worship and evangelism, pointing to the cross and Jesus as the only real and lasting solution.
     Imagine if you will, what would happen, if in the midst of these crisis situations in which the work of the devil is being glorified, an army of loving Christians come along healing the broken hearted and attacking Satan's forces. The camera's of the world which are  focused on the bad news must turn and tell the good news not because they want to, but because they must, for the forces of God have come to the rescue, and the good news becomes a part of the story!

DEAF, BLIND AND DUMB…
     When we examine statistics, we find that most adults only come to Jesus in crisis situations. Children are the exception to the rule. For a while they are untouched by cynicism to the point that when told the wonderful story of God's mercy and love through Jesus, they immediately accept.
     Unfortunately, not so with adults. They like the prodical son must usually find themselves in pigpen situations, where pride leaves and repentance can then enter it's way into a broken heart to bring healing and restoration.
     Isaiah said, "Some people have ears, but they don't hear, some have eyes but they don't see."  However, let trouble come... and suddenly people are all ears, and all eyes, looking for answers to their pain and solutions to their problems.

PROVEN STRATEGIES THAT WORK
      Bad news situations and bad news places is where the Good News is most effective. Thus the purpose for a ministry like Christian World Embassy and its Good News In Bad News Places campaigns.
     By the way, this is not theory of a ministry that could be done. It is a ministry that is being done by international evangelist Jerry Davis and his team. Back in 1989 Jerry was featured in U.S. news because of his stance in preaching on the beaches of America. Defended by Jay Sekulow in federal court, Jerry reaffirmed for all American preachers the right to preach on the public beaches and streets of the United States.
      In 1997 Jerry Davis and his "Good News response team" was featured on CNN and other international news organizations conducting a Jesus march and prayer rally in front of the Japanese embassy in Lima, Peru.
      In recent years our teams have responded to most major wars, political crisis and natural disaster, including the 911 attack on the Twin Towers where Jerry & team lead daily street memorials services in New York City.
      Jerry & co. have also responded to the many bus bombings in Israel. They set up their worship and soul winning teams and conduct street ministry on the bomb sites with great effect.
      Most recent Jerry took a team to respond to the Hurricane disasters in Florida. They ministered to over ten thousand victims providing relief supplies and evangelism.

          A MISSION WHOSE TIME HAS COME
      Jerry Davis continues doing much the same thing in 55 countries so far around the world including the the Middle East, the former Soviet Empire, Cuba, Rwanda, Nicaragua, N. Ireland, Kosovo, Israel and many others. Almost every month he along with his international Good News Response Team is attacking Satan in his strongholds across the planet. Wherever the world’s eyes are focused upon bad news, the Good News Response Teams are headed.

  POISED ON THE BRINK OF EXPLOSION
      And now, Jerry Davis Ministries is building a Christian World Embassy disaster relief and ministry training complex in Texas, as well starting up and equipping national and international Good News Response Teams ready to pounce on the devil no matter where in the US or world he is attempting to strike.
       The time has come for a response by the church for every crisis. A response that networks and unites pastors, ministry leaders and the saints in one accord with the only message that can give help to the body and hope for the soul. The message is Jesus.
